West Side Avenue Streetscape This project involves the milling and resurfacing of the existing roadway, upgrading traffic signal equipment, installation of new signing and striping, minor drainage improvements, removal of existing concrete sidewalk and curbing, installation of new decorative concrete sidewalk and curbing, installation of ADA compliant curb ramps, and installation of streetscape measures including tree pits, street trees, and ornamental lighting foundations The Engineer will direct the contractor as to where the work will be performed and will guarantee at least a day's worth of work. The contractor shall be responsible for all necessary maintenance and protection of traffic and pedestrian routes during construction. Work shall be performed in accordance with the 2019 NJDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as amended by the technical specifications contained herein.
