The Jersey City Board of Education hereby advertises for competitive bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(a) (b) and Federal Regulations 2 CFR 200.320 (c) (2) for the following: PD24-25-60 Produce Delivery Margin PD24-25-061 Refrigerator and Freezer Repair Services PD24-25-62 Halal Products - Food Service Department All necessary proposal specifications and proposal forms may be downloaded by visiting the Online Website, select "Departments and Services" and select "Purchasing" and registering on our online bidding system. The general public and interested parties may view the bid opening online or attend in-person at the aforementioned address. No late submitted offer will be accepted or considered. Offerors are cautioned to commence the submittal process sufficiently ahead of time to allow for unanticipated delays resulting from things like a slow internet connection, internet outage, difficulty uploading large documents, differing system requirements, etc. No bids shall be received after the time designated in the advertisement. (N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(b)). All respondents are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Unsealing of Proposals Online Live Streaming The proposal opening will be conducted via online live streaming. The names of the vendors and their prices will be announced on the online live streaming which may be viewed by the general public and interested parties on the advertised proposal date and time. All potential respondents are to visit the Board of Education at online on the day of the proposal opening for further instructions. Public Notice: Procuring Goods and Services Financed with Federal Funds The Jersey City Board of Education hereby provides public notice that federal funds will be used to procure the goods/services as outlined in the bid specifications. The percentage of the cost of the goods/services are outlined below: Federal Program Percentage of the Total Cost of Bid National School Lunch Program One Hundred Percent (100%) National School Breakfast Program One Hundred Percent (100%) CERTIFICATIONS SECTION; FEDERAL CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS As a requirement for submission of the bid, all bidders are to read the CERTIFICATIONS Section for FEDERAL CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS, found at the end of the bid package. Bidders shall be responsible for the completion, execution and submission of all required CERTIFICATION documents.
