The owner has selected a Design Builder. The project is expected to start construction in August 12, 2024. Design & Construction of Microbasins: Roadside Swales and Driveway Pipe Refurbishment Question Deadline 06/11/2024 at 5:00 PM ET, Questions regarding this Request for Proposals shall be submitted to Laura Hammer, Grant Administrator, City of Fellsmere, 22 S. Orange Street, Fellsmere, FL 32948 or by email to grantadmin@cityoffellsmere.org. Questions must be received in writing Answers to all questions received will be posted at online by no later than June 18, 2024. All bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal forms provided in the Specifications. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany the sealed proposal of each builder will be required as follows: a cashiers check, a certified check, or a surety bond payable to the City of Fellsmere. Deposits will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. If the Contract is awarded to a Bidder, that Bidder shall enter into a Contract with the City and furnish the required Performance and Payment Bonds and Certificates of Insurance or forfeit the Bid Bond or security as liquidated damages. A contract must be executed within ten (10) days following the award of the successful bidder. The City of Fellsmere is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
