Demolition, site work and addition to a transportation facility in Warsaw, Missouri. Completed plans call for the addition of a transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

Pogue followed with many project updates around the city, including 1) Apron expansion at the Warsaw Municipal Airport, 2) TAP project on the east end of Main Street, particularly on the north side, 3) Polk and Commercial Streets and easements at Walmart and Hawthorn Bank, 4) Parking and a new, relocated restroom located on Drake Harbor, 5) RAISE Grant, which is "moving right along" according to Pogue, 6) a Lay Park Master Plan with RFQ's due by July 1, 7) a wastewater treatment study update, 8) lead inventory update, which was covered earlier in the meeting, and 9) an update from the USACE with notification to the council that Jim Sandberg will be retiring and will be replaced as the Project Manager by Rich Chiles, with an introductory meeting set for July 10. _______________________________________________________________ Please direct all questions to Patrick Barnes. Phone: 318-751-6814 Email: pabarnes@burnsmcd.com INTENT OF CONTRACT. The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. 40-02 ALTERATION OF WORK AND QUANTITIES. The Owner reserves and shall have the right to make such alterations in the work as may be necessary or desirable to complete the work originally intended in an acceptable manner. Unless otherwise specified herein, the Engineer shall be and is hereby authorized to make such alterations in the work as may increase or decrease the originally awarded contract quantities, provided that the aggregate of such alterations does not change the total contract cost or the total cost of any major contract item by more than 25 percent (total cost being based on the unit prices and estimated quantities in the awarded contract). Alterations that do not exceed the 25 percent limitation shall not invalidate the contract nor release the surety, and the Contractor agrees to accept payment for such alterations as if the altered work had been a part of the original contract. These alterations that are for work within the general scope of the contract shall be covered by "Change Orders" issued by the Engineer. Change orders for altered work shall include extensions of contract time where, in the Engineer's opinion, such extensions are commensurate with the amount and difficulty of added work.
