Reference Number 0000353501 Cimalore Sports Complex Parking Lot Resurfacing Question Deadline 06/04/2024 at 1:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No. Questions regarding this solicitation must be emailed and received by the Purchasing Agent at ecardillo@westerlyri.gov The Town of Westerly is seeking bid proposals from qualified Contractors to conduct asphalt resurfacing of the parking lots located at the Cimalore Sports Complex located at 3 Wilson Street. The proposed scope of work consists of a base bid with additional alternatives that are based on three separate areas of the complex's parking lot identified as the front (main) lot, the rear lot, and the unpaved lot. These areas are shown in Drawing P-1 and detailed in the sections below. In general, the scope of work consists of full-depth asphalt reclamation, surface regrading, removal and installation of asphalt curb, adjustment of utilities to final grade, partial removal of existing vegetated islands and replacement with gravel borrow, removal and resetting of chain link fence and swing gates, placement of 2-inches of Class 12.5 hotmix asphalt (HMA) overlain by 1.5 inches of Class 9.5 HMA, placement of loam and seed, establishment and maintenance of soil erosion and sedimentation control measures, and placement of pavement markings. The proposed surface grading conditions for the lots are indicated with arrows on Drawing P-1. The contractor shall conduct topographic survey of the lots and provide a proposed grading plan to the Town prior to the start of construction work. Any excess material generated during the full-depth reclamation and surface grading process shall be removed and properly disposed of off-site. An additional alternative is included for the front lot for the removal of the vegetated islands and installation of guardrails
