Safe Streets and Reads for All (SS4A) grant and is developing a comprehensive safety action plan. The City is requesting qualifications for professional services from registered engineering firms with experience in developing transportation comprehensive safety action plans. Interested firms are invited to submit a statement of qualifications for professional services. The project includes reviewing the "Vision Zero Network" and developing a comprehensive safety action plan for the City of West Plains. This will involve developing the various aspects necessary to complete the recommended improvements. A detailed scope of services will be developed as part of contract negotiations. In addition to normal engineering and evaluation responsibilities, the consultant will be responsible for attending and supporting various meetings with city transportation officials. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
