Site work and paving for a civil project in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
2024 Slurry Seal Work must begin immediately on the Notice To Proceed Date in the Written Notice from the Engineer and after the date of such notice must be physically completed within the following period per Section 3 of the Agreement: 15 WORKING DAYS If the successful Contractor fails to complete Work within the time set forth above, (s)he will be charged Liquidated Damages per Section 4 of the Agreement and Section 1-08.9. See Section 1-08.9 for method for determining cost of liquidated damages. Project includes complex traffic control and management to accommodate work in highly populated areas as well as preparation of roadway surface, application of slurry seal, and removal and installation of pavement markings. A/E ESTIMATE: $600,000. There is no pre-bid site inspection meeting scheduled for this project For purposes of the Inclusion Plan, this is considered a Slurry Seal type of project with a Past Performance of 15 Percent WMBE utilization rates based on completed projects.
