The proposed work includes: Base Bid Items: Approximately 1250 LF of 3 1/2" wedge and overlay of South Dudley Street between E Berry Street and E Walnut Street; Approximately 1350 LF of FDR of North Ewing Street between E 8th Street and E Arthur Street; Approximately 2000 LF of 2" overlay of East 6th Street from N Davis Street and N Lincoln Street; and any work considered to be incidental in accordance with the plans and specifications. Add Alternate 1 Items: Approximately 2600 LF of 2" overlay of West McGaughy Street between E Willis Street and NW Harley Road. Add Alternate 2 Items: Approximately 1350 LF of 3/8" chip and seal of West 6th Street between NW Harley Road and N Ardinger Street; Approximately 3200 LF of 3/8" chip and seal of S Hughes Street between W Berry Street and US-36 Bus. The project is located on various roads in Hamilton, MO. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects shall provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. A certified cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The City of Hamilton reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
