Task 205 This work includes the following: Construction of a small park plaza to highlight a new commissioned statue of James Cash Penney. Specific work elements include minor pavement removal, grade preparation, installation of aggregate base and 5 " PCC pavement, poured in place concrete footing to support a commissioned statue, and PCC seat walls with precast cap and brick surface. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in bids. A bid bond is not required. A performance BOND and a payment BOND, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. A certified check may be used in lieu of these BONDS. Attorneys-in-fact who sign BID BONDS or payment BONDS and performance BONDS must file with each BOND a certified and effective dated copy of their power of attorney. All questions about the meaning or intent of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS shall be submitted to the ENGINEER in writing. Replies will be issued by ADDENDA mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the bidding documents. Questions received less than 1 days prior to the date for opening of BIDS may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written ADDENDA will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Work fully complete the PROJECT by September 19, 2025.
