Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Elkins, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project is 100% set aside for small business under NAICS code 237310, size standard $45M. Load, deliver, and install a government supplied, 50' temporary bridge and wooden abutments from Black Mountain storage site off FR 86 to FR 914A Hacking Run Road near Richwood, WV. Bridge shall be set to span stream with final grade of deck set 1 ft - 1.5 ft above the existing road grade on each side of the stream. Installation shall include furnishing materials, equipment, and labor to construct stone (est. of 100 -150 tons of 1 1/2 " agg.) approaches at each end of structure, blending bridge elevation to existing road elevation. Bridge weights approx. 30,000 lbs. Project location is on the Monongahela National Forest, WV as follows Pick-up: 38 18' 21.568"N 80 12' 14.516"W Install: 38 20' 30.588"N 80 22' 26.974"W Goals for minority participation for each trade 3.4% Goals for female participation for each trade 6.9% *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
