Site work for a civil project in Elkins, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Maxwell Water Storage Tank Replacement The Project includes the following Work: Installation of a new 122,000-gallon water storage tank, demolition of the existing 500,000-gallon welded steel water storage tank and installation of a new 491,000-gallon water storage tank. The work will consist of site grading, preparation, piping, and tie-ins, installation of perimeter fencing, and all other necessary appurtenances. The Work will be substantially completed within 330 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 360 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Midland Public Service District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. The Midland Public Service District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Question Deadline 08/07/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
