The City of Cartersville Electric System is soliciting proposals from qualified tree trimming companies to provide comprehensive tree trimming and vegetation management services for the maintenance of power lines within our service area. The selected contractor will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our electric distribution system by proactively managing vegetation that poses a risk to power lines. 1. Tree Trimming: The contractor shall trim trees in proximity to power lines to maintain proper clearance and prevent interference with electric distribution infrastructure. 2. Vegetation Management: In addition to tree trimming, the contractor shall manage other vegetation, including bushes, shrubs, and vines, that may pose a threat to the reliability of the electric system. 3. Emergency Response: The contractor must be capable of providing emergency tree trimming services on short notice in the event of storm damage or other emergencies that require immediate attention.
