East Water Treatment Plant Each skid is composed of 52 vessels (280-in long): 36 vessels (280-in long) on the First Stage, and 16 vessels (280-in long) the Second Stage. The existing skids have 9 rows with 4 pressure vessels on the First Stage and 8 rows with 2 pressure vessels on the Second Stage. 1. Provide labor and equipment for dismantling a total of 52 pressure vessels, including endcaps and permeate J-Bend connectors. 2. Provide labor and equipment for unloading a total of 364 used membrane elements (252 from the 1st Stage and 112 from the 2 nd Stage). Services shall also include labor to transport removed membrane elements to a designated disposal dumpster located on-site at the East Water Treatment Plant. 3. Provide labor and materials to swab (with a mild chlorine solution and rinse with clean permeate water) and install a total of 52 pressure vessels and a total of 104 endcaps and JBends. 4. Provide labor and equipment to unload and load a total of 364 new membrane elements (252 for the 1st Stage and 112 for the 2 nd Stage). a) Contractor shall record serial numbers and loading position for the membrane elements and should provide copy of the documentation to the City upon completion of the Work. b) Services shall also include labor to transport removed membrane packaging to a designated disposal dumpster located on-site at the East WTP. Central Water Treatment Plant Each skid is composed of 75 vessels (320-in long): 50 vessels (320-in long) on the First Stage, and 25 vessels (320-in long) the Second Stage. The existing skids have 10 rows with 5 pressure vessels on the First Stage and 5 rows with 5 pressure vessels on the Second Stage. 1. Provide labor and equipment for dismantling a total of 75 pressure vessels, including endcaps and permeate J-Bend connectors. 2. Provide labor and equipment for unloading a total of 525 used membrane elements (350from the 1st Stage and 175 from the 2nd Stage). Services shall also include labor to transport removed membrane elements to a designated disposal dumpster located on-site at the Central Water Treatment Plant. 3.
