City of Saint Paul Public Work Department is looking for bids on 891 Dale Street Roof Replacement Project. 5% Bid Bond is required. Project Summary: Removal and replacement of existing roof system consisting of: 1. Existing Roof System Areas A and B (approximately 420 squares) - Ballasted 1-ply EPDM over one layer of 9.0-inches of Expanded Poly-Styrene insulation over 5/8-inch gypsum over 1.5 structurally sloped metal decking. Roof drains are Hickman PVC drains. Solar panels are on the south end of the roof. 2. New Roof System Areas A and B- 90 mil fully adhered reinforced EPDM membrane, 1/2 inch high density Isocyanurate cover board set in low-rise foam adhesive over a new 2 layers of 2.5-inches isocyanurate insulation set in low-rise foam adhesive, 1-ply selfadhered vapor barrier over 1/2 -inch dens deck mechanically attached to the existing metal deck. Contractor to use caution, new fasteners not to exceed 1 inch penetration through deck. Install new drain inserts at existing 24 drain locations. Install new wood curbs at buried existing expansion joint. At areas of additional tapered provide 1/8"/ft tapered rigid insulation system with isocyanurate fillers each set in low-rise foam. 3. Provide new 24 ga. gi. color-coated metal counter flashings to match. Provide 1/2 inch per foot crickets and saddles at all, units, etc. Penetrations/details include but are not limited to: sleeper curbs, mechanical unit curbs, pipe penetrations, vent stacks, overflow scuppers, roof drains. At perimeter scupper locations, enlarge existing openings to meet code. Provide new supports at conduit/gas piping locations A.
