Site work for a water / sewer project in East Palatka, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of November 5, 2025, this project is no longer moving forward. A former solicitation is below - The work shall consist of but is not limited to the demolition and reconstruction of the Pico Road dock. The contractor shall furnish all materials and perform all labor necessary for the completion of: 1. The demolition of the existing wood pile catwalk and breakwater on Southside and Northside of the boat ramp 2. Hauling away of all debris 3. Construction of a new 5' wide X 72' long dock and breakwater in the same location on the Southside of the boat ramp. Dock shall be raised 2 -3 feet from current height to keep out of flood waters. 4. Construction of a new 8' wide X 92' long dock and breakwater in the same location on the Northside of the boat ramp. Dock shall be raised 2 -3 feet from current height to keep out of flood waters. Material Specifications o 10" diameter dock piles o 2 X 10 stringers and pile caps o 2 X 6 wood bullnose decking screwed in place with stainless steel 3" screws o Breakwater to be built with light-weight sheet pile o All piles will be above the dock for boat mooring o Bolts must be hot-dipped galvanized or stainless steel 5. Contractor is responsible for all preparation and costs associated with any and all necessary permits
