Scope of Work: The project involves asphalt concrete resurfacing and related work along Pershing Road (CR-71) from the Zanesville Corp limits to Woodlawn Avenue (SLM 10.63 to 11.66). The engineer's estimate is $492,000. The project construction completion date is October 25, 2024. Only contractors prequalified with the Ohio Department of Transportation will be eligible to submit bids for this project. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid Surety furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The contractor and all subcontractors shall be required to pay a rate or rates of wages which shall not be less than those currently determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with Federal aid requirements and U.S. Department of Labor Regulations, Title 29, Subtitle A, Part 5, Sections 5.5, 5.31, and 5.32, most recent revision at contract execution.
