Cecil County is interested in exploring feasible and viable options using proven technologies for the beneficial use of LFG from Cecil County Central Landfill. Such beneficial use options for the available LFG may include electricity generation, renewable natural gas generation, direct-use, and other beneficial use applications as demonstrated by the Respondents. The County is not specifying any specific LFG beneficial use. Respondents will have the responsibility and requirements to design, permit, construct, operate, and maintain the LFG Beneficial Use Facility. The project will include the design, permitting, construction, operation & maintenance of a landfill gas beneficial use facility, by a Landfill Gas Development Partner selected by the County, utilizing landfill gas generated at the Cecil County Central Landfill. The Central Landfill is located at 758 E. Old Philadelphia Road, Elkton, MD 21921.
