Construction Services for the Spruce Run Reservoir Resource Preservation - Foundation Grouting Project Township of Clinton, Town of Clinton, Township of Union, Hunterdon County, New Jersey The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment required for the Foundation Grouting Project generally consisting of the following: Construction Services for Spruce Run Reservoir Resource Preservation - Foundation Grouting Project Only pre-qualified firms capable of performing the type of work involved, either by their firm or as part of a joint venture, will be eligible to receive bid documents and/or submit a bid. Potential subcontractors will be able to obtain bid documents from pre-qualified contractors providing they execute a non-disclosure agreement. Applications for pre-qualification will be accepted through one (1) week after the advertisement date of this bid. Bid documents, plans and specifications will be provided to prequalified firms only. The Contractor will be required to complete Milestone #1* within three hundred and fifteen (315) calendar days from Notice to Proceed and complete Milestone #2 within four hundred and twenty (420) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. All bids submitted shall be accompanied by a bid security amounting to not less than ten (10%) percent of the total bid price or $20,000, whichever is less. Such security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond, payable or firmly bound to the New Jersey Water Supply Authority. Any bond submitted shall be posted by a recognized surety company licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey and listed in Department Circular 570, 2009 Revision, of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, incorporated herein by reference. A certified copy of the agents authority to act must accompany all bid bonds signed by an agent. If a contract is awarded, the successful bidder shall enter into contract and shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the bid amount submitted. This Contract or Subcontract is expected to be funded in part with funds from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (Department) and the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank. Neither the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank, nor any of their departments, divisions, agencies or employees is, or will be, a party to this Contract or Subcontract, or any lower tier Contract or Subcontract. The project sponsor has identified that the SED utilization goal for this project is: 10 percent.
