Outdoor lighting and renovation of a mixed-use development in Ozark, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; for outdoor lighting for a clubhouse / community center; swimming pool; and swimming pool.

The City of Ozark, Missouri ("City") is requesting proposals from qualified companies for the replacement of our current pool lighting system at The Ozark Community Center, inside of the aquatics center ("OC Aquatic Facility"). The City retains the right to reject any and all bids. If a bid is selected, the awarded party shall be required to enter into a contract with the City; said contract in substantially in that form as the draft contract available along with the entire RFP on the City of Ozark website. More information can be obtained by contacting Hayden Ponsar 417-581-7002 or haydenp@ozarkmissouri.org at the OC. Please mail or drop off your sealed bids to Ozark City Hall, Attn: City Clerk, 205 N. 1st Street, Ozark, MO 65721 The company selected will be expected to remove the existing lighting system at the OC Aquatic Center, and replace it with a lighting system designed to meet the required lighting rating (footcandles) for the aquatic facility as deemed necessary by the IES (IES recommends that Recreational Indoor Pool facilities are at 25fc AVG). The City has been working with a local supplier to evaluate lighting needs, and has provided a photometric plan and suggested lighting based on our needs. Selected companies are encouraged, but not required, to utilize those plans to ensure that their lighting installation meets the requested lighting amount. Those photometric plans and lighting specifications are included at the end of this request. They are for photometric reference only, and not made for construction. Any equipment, wiring, mounting hardware, and light fixtures installed must have a natatorium approved rating, as determined by the manufacturer. Additionally, mounts must be installed to maintain the integrity of the pre-stressed concrete wall panels and double-Tee roof members. Contractor is responsible for coordinating with precast concrete manufacturer for approved mounting locations and methods. Contractors are required to examine our site plans, to see the clearances necessary for HVAC and Electrical Lighting. Plans for the existing light system and HVAC system are included, but are not "as built". Question Deadline 06/11/2024 Project and bidding questions shall be conducted exclusively via e-mail to Hayden Ponsar, Interim Parks and Recreation Director Email: haydenp@ozarkmissouri.org
