The Design and Construction Management Department at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) requires general contracting services for the installation of a new data closet in Room SW539 and a new Autoclave in Room SW225 of the Science Wing. Refer to Attachment 1 Description of Goods / and Services. Scope of Work Highlights Work included is as follows: Demolition and removal of all items in SW539. New gypsum board interior partition, lighting, data, and data equipment in SW539. Supply and installation of new door and door hardware in SW539. Supply and installation of autoclave in SW225 (under cash allowance). Milestone Schedule: Commence the Work - July 4, 2024 Substantial Performance - September 12, 2024 Occupancy - September 19, 2025 Ready-for-Takeover - October 24, 2024 Surety Agreement - 50% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and Materials Payment Bond (Pass/Fail) The University may, in its sole discretion and at any time during the RFP Process, take any one or all of the following actions: (a) reject or disqualify any or all of the Proposals Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com
