Reference Number 0000270789 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/06/06 03:00:00 PM EDT The University of Ottawa is seeking quotations from equipment suppliers (Proponents) to provide a new custom makeup air unit, a new laboratory exhaust fan assembly with three fans, and a new heat recovery coil assembly complete with inlet and outlet plenums and dampers. This equipment is required to serve laboratory spaces in the STEM building. Purchase Order will be issued to a single supplier for all equipment. The purpose of this RFQ is to proceed with the pre-purchase of the equipment noted above in order to receive the materials in time and complete the installation October, 2025. Anticipated Start up Date - October, 2025 The objective of this RFQ is to award one (1) contract to a Successful Proponent (as indicated in Article 9A (Forms of Agreement) of this RFQ) for the supply of Makeup Air Unit, Heat Recovery Coil and Lab Exhaust Fan Assemblies. The services noted below are intended to assist in defining the scope of services required and are not exhaustive. It is the responsibility of the proponent to determine the level of services and resources required to provide: a. Makeup Air Unit, Heat Recovery Coil and Lab Exhaust Fan Assemblies b. Delivery of the Makeup Air Unit, Heat Recovery Coil and Lab Exhaust Fan Assemblies c. Equipment testing, startup, and verification d. Demo and training e. 2-year parts warranty on the following: 4. Makeup Air Unit and all components including fans, coils, and VFD's, except Humidifier. 5. Heat Recovery Coil Assembly and all components including coil. 6. Lab Exhaust Fan Assembly and all components including fans and VFD's f. 5-year parts and labour warranty on the following: 2. Humidifier system and components forming part of the Makeup Air Unit The Architect and Mechanical Sub-Consultant, at their sole discretion, reserve the right to accept or reject alternatives if an alternative request is received.
