The construction of +-2484 LF (Triple 828 LF) of 24" RCP storm drain pipe, one (1) GDOT STD 1125 headwall, relocating +- 355 LF 8" gravity sewer main, relocating +-2359 LF 6" water main, +-50 SY GDOT STD Type 1 Rip-Rap, 1.3 linear miles regrading ditch, +- 63 LF concrete removal and replacement, all other necessary appurtenances for a complete job. All work on the Project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with City of Lenox prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to City of Lenox, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. This project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. The Policy requires that contracting opportunities should be posted or advertised in a minimum of three locations. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids.
