Renovation of a mixed-use development in Goleta, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 615-square-foot laboratory facility.
Bid Security: Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Lump Sum Base Bid shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, an admitted surety insurer (as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120). Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance, and services to construct an interior renovation of a 615 square feet optics laboratory room (#1416) and accessibility upgrades in a men's toilet room (#1014), as well as the women's toilet room (#1006) of the University's Broida Hall Physics Building. These improvements enhance the capability of the existing laboratory space to house laboratory equipment used in experiments. Work in the adjacent mechanical utility core of Broida Hall includes extending the existing mechanical catwalk platform to support current and future laboratory equipment, electrical panels, as well as additional support items located along core Estimated Construction Cost: $380,000 University Contact: For further information, contact University's Representative, James Gonzales, at james.gonales@ucsb.edu.
