Reconstruction of Taxilanes 5, 6 and 9 including full depth reclamation, aggregate grading and compaction, asphalt paving, pavement marking, and restoration. The project shall be complete and ready for final inspection up to Twenty-Two (22) calendar days from the effective date of Notice-to-Proceed, depending on the options awarded. The City of Sturgis reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bids or bid, should it consider same to be in its best interest. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory 100 percent performance bond as well as labor and material bond. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days. Bidders will submit a proposal guaranty in the form of a proposal bond, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the bid sum. There is a Four percent (4%) DBE requirement for this project.
