Amtrak intends to engage the construction services of a qualified contractor for bridge deck replacements on Amtrak's Hudson Line at MP95.66 and MP95.90 over South Bay-Tivoli and adjacent to the Hudson River on the west side of Track 2 in Barrytown (Dutchess County), NY. Amtrak intends to accept Letters of Interest from qualified firms for this upcoming solicitation as described below. Amtrak, at its sole discretion and without discussion, will determine which firms are to be added to its bid list. ONLY Contractors that can meet the minimum qualifications listed below should E-MAIL a Letter of Interest including the Pre-qualification Form stated below on company letterhead to: Stephen.Weaver@amtrak.com. A. Removal and Replacement of the existing bridges at MP 95.66 and 95.90 on Amtrak's Hudson Line-Empire Division including retaining walls along the approaches. The existing abutments will be abandoned in place in front of the new bridge substructures. The existing two track bridge at each location will be replaced by two single track bridges in accordance with the Contract Documents. B. Raising of the existing track profiles by 10 inches in accordance with the Contract Documents. C. Shifting and realignment of the existing Track 2 in accordance with the Contract Documents. D. The required utility work to facilitate bridge replacement. o Name of Firm (if a single entity) or Joint Venture Partners and significant subcontractors. o The Name, Title, and Contact information of the Authorized Representative / Single Point-of-Contact for the Statement of Qualification o Comparable Prime Contractor Project experience ($10M - $40M range) in the last 5 years o Qualified list of construction personnel o Financial resources /capability/bonding - Resource commitment to completion of project by December 31, 2025. o Davis Bacon and certified payroll reporting In an effort to provide "maximum practicable opportunity" to participate in the provision of goods and services to Amtrak, prime firms under agreement with Amtrak are required to put forth Good Faith Efforts to contract with Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).
