The Fox River Water Reclamation District hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received for the Project: 2024 ADP WRF Struvite and Filtrate Cleaning Bids will only be accepted in paper form, sealed and delivered as described above. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Work consists of installing jetting points, blind flanges, and one new bypass pipeline onto existing Phosphorus Treated Digested Sludge (PTDS) and Filtrate pipelines, and then jetting and chemically cleaning those pipelines, in accordance with manufacture specifications, for removal of struvite and debris. In addition, the Struvite Reactor, two Struvite Equalization Tanks, and two Filtrate Tanks are to be cleaned by means of power wash (capable of 2,000 - 3,000 psi of water pressure). All solids in these tanks and pipelines are to be removed and centrifuged to 18-20% solids, then measured and thrown out on-site with either FRWRD biosolids for struvite and digested sludge, or FRWRD screenings for non-digestible solids. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 10 % of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders BID REJECTION / ACCEPTANCE: OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of OWNER.
