The City of Seaside is seeking proposals from muralists to submit a vibrant design welcoming visitors to the center and reflecting the Parks and Recreation Department activities, programs, and services to the community to be placed on approximately 9'Hx15'L interior wall at the Oldemeyer Center. Artists who have experience designing and painting mural projects with a similar budget and scope are encouraged to apply. The selected mural will be installed by the artist on an interior wall at the Oldemeyer Center located at 986 Hilby Avenue. Materials must be suitable for indoors, long-lasting, and resistant to scratches to the greatest extent possible. Photo of the wall is shown in Exhibit A. Method of Payment: The City shall pay one installment of X DOLLARS ($XX) to Consultant on <> and pay second installment of X DOLLARS ($XX) on completion of project or when contract is terminated on June 30, 2025. Term: The term of this agreement shall commence on <> and terminate on June 30, 2025 BUDGET: Include the total cost of the mural in your proposal including material and installation costs and provide schedule for implementation. Total costs must not exceed $15,000.00.
