This PROJECT IS A STANDARD LOW BID PROJECT and includes: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION The work under this Contract shall generally consist of, but not necessarily be limited to schedule work to maintain access to Hangar 19-101 by scheduling work on east and west apron separately, maintain access to one wash pad at all time by scheduling work on wash pads separately. Remove concrete at East Apron 19-101, West Apron 19-101, Wash Pad 19-101, Wash Pad 19-132, Pad 19-115, and sidewalk at Hangar 19-132. Remove concrete waste to FTIG Johnson Trail dump site. Crush all concrete to less than 3-inch and remove/separate reinforcement mesh and steel. Remove 2 concrete catch basins at wash pads and replace with precast concrete catch basins. Replace up to 2-inches of AASHTO #57 stone to bring subgrade to required compacted elevation. Form, reinforce, pour, and finish concrete in areas identified in #2 above. Utilize Jet-Fuel resistant sealant, backer material, and expansion board. Tie into existing paving or concrete with clean saw cut and seal. Tie into grass/lawn with topsoil and seed as noted. Clean construction debris from all areas. Fort indiantown gap is now access controlled. If you are not a current contractor with badge access, you must stop at the visitors center (map in contract documents) to obtain a day pass that will allow you on base for the pre-bid site visit.
