Site work for a water / sewer project in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Government anticipates staged construction where contractor will replace one existing gate in one wet well at any one time starting from the topmost gate and working downwards. In addition, there are gate lifting constraints in the wet wells since the existing wet well inlet gates do not line up with the grating in the floor above. The Government anticipates temporary work platforms to facilitate personnel action, material movement and gate replacement. Contractor may be required to utilize portable cranes to lift the existing gates to the surface and to lower the new gates to the platform below. The wet well low flow outlet slide gate and low flow outlet slide gate will have be to be kept open during the gate replacement work to drain the leaking water from the gates out of the wet wells. This will help in keeping the water level low in the wet well where gates are being replaced. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement, a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.
