The City is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide pipe maintenance services which include but is not limited to: excavation and repair/replacement of water, wastewater, irrigation, storm drain pipe along with inlets and outlets, service lines and connections, water distribution valves, irrigation valves, and wastewater valves. Project Background Information and Purpose The purpose of this RFP is to seek proposals from qualified firms that can perform any of the various services for the City on a contractual basis including, but not limited to: Water Distribution Pipe Maintenance Services Wastewater Collection System Pipe Maintenance Services Wastewater Treatment Plant Pipe Maintenance Services Storm Drain Pipe Maintenance Services Irrigation Pipe Maintenance Services These services are typically unplanned or considered emergency work for which staff is either not available, or which requires specialized equipment, skill, and/or knowledge of a general contractor. Depending on the quality and quantity of responses, the City may contract with up to two (2) proposers for each noted area of service need. The agreements will expire on June 30, 2029. Proposers may propose on one or as many categories as they are qualified to provide service for, as more specifically identified in the Scope of Work. City reserves the right to retain all Proposals for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days for examination and comparison. The City of Thousand Oaks may cancel this solicitation at any time.
