For the Satsop Cloquallum Road MP 5.20 Comfort Creek Culvert Replacement Range $75,000 to $100,000 Additional Note: The new culvert is a 16-9 Span x 10-8 Rise Aluminum Structural Plate Pipe Arch, 70 length, and will be supplied by Owner. It is unassembled and stockpiled at Mason County Public Works Shop (100 West Public Works Drive, Shelton WA 98584 access allowed between 7am and 4pm, Monday through Friday). The culvert must be transported by contractor to project location. This project must be completed within the road closure scheduled from 7am on Monday August 19th through 4pm on Friday August 30th. MAJOR BID ITEMS will include Mobilization, LS; Removal of Structure, LS; Temporary Dewatering/Stream Bypass, LS; Streambed Sediment, LS; Crushed Surfacing Base Course, LS; Placement of New Structure, LS; Ecology Blocks, LS; and other items in conformance with the 2024 WSDOT Standard Specifications, and the Special Provisions for this project. ALL BID PROPOSALS shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a Surety Bond, Cash, Cashiers Check, or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. The Proposal Bond shall be on DOT Form 272-001A Revised 05/13 for Local Agency Use. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Mason County.
