Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Belding, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The proposed Work includes material verification and full or partial replacement of up to 662 water service lines from the existing water main to 18 inches inside the structure or to the first shutoff valve, whichever is shorter. The Contractor will excavate a pothole at the curb stop to physically verify and document the service materials on either side of the curb stop to determine the need for service replacement. Replacement of water services will include replacement of the curb stop & box, and may include removal of meter pits and replacement of corporation stops. Incidental repair and restoration of yards, driveways, sidewalks, curb and gutter, and roads will be included in the scope of work. A map of the corresponding Work locations is provided with these Bidding Documents. The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating Work in the public Right of Way with the City DPW staff, providing suitable backfill, handling and disposal of unsuitable spoils, and complete surface restoration of disturbed areas. The Contractor will also be responsible for coordinating Work on private property with the property owners. A pre-bid conference will not be held.
