Reference Number 0000353288 The City of Mount Vernon seeks to install an ADA compliant elevator system at Memorial Field located at 431 Garden Ave. We wish to provide a handicap-accessible route from the existing grandstand lower mezzanine area to the existing stadium pressbox level. The majority of the proposed accessible route encompasses a vertical travel distance of approximately five (5) stories. The construction of which should be compliant with prevailing wage guidelines and federal regulation regarding usage of steel. The City of Mount Vernon is committed to increasing participation of Minority and Women Owned Businesses or Enterprises (MWBE) as prime contractors or sub-contractors on our projects.
