Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Vero Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed project for 43rd Avenue Bicycle & Pedestrian Access Improvements from 12th Street to 18th Street includes but is not limited to adding 5-foot bike lanes, drainage improvements, milling, resurfacing, striping, 6-foot-wide sidewalks, pedestrian signalization improvements, and utility relocations. All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or a certified check or a cashiers check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. In the event the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, Bidder will enter in a Contract with the County and furnish the required 100% Public Construction Bond and certificates of insurance within the timeframe set by the County. If Bidder fails to do so, the Bid Security shall be retained by the County as liquidated damages and not as penalty. The County reserves the right to delay awarding of the Contract for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening, to waive informalities in any bid, or reject any or all bids in whole or in part with or without cause/or to accept the bid that, in its judgement, will serve the best interest of Indian River County, Florida. The County will not reimburse any Bidder for bid preparation costs. The work specified in this section consists of the establishing of a stand of grass, within the project, right-of-way, easements, and other areas indicated on the Drawings, by furnishing and placing grass sod. Also included are fertilizing, watering and maintenance asrequired to assure a healthy stand of grass. Two applications of fertilizer will be required with the initial application being fertilizer and the second application being weed and feed. Maintain, prepare and provide the ENGINEER with record documents as specified below, except where otherwise specified or modified within the scope of work provided in the specific project contract documents. The Contractor and/or Developer shall be responsible for, and required to provide, Record Drawings as outlined in this section. A. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall employ a competent photographer and videographer to take construction record photographs and video prior to start of work and periodically during the course of the Work.
