Scope of work includes demolition of existing space and procurement/installation of new MEP, casework, flooring, and fume hood. 2265: Decima Lab: Interior lab renovation of existing 400 square feet space to create a new spec lab. Scope of work includes demolition of existing space and procurement/installation of new MEP, casework, and flooring. 3251: Lukowski Lab: Interior lab renovation of existing 550 square feet space to create a new spec lab. Scope of work includes demolition of existing space and procurement/installation of new MEP, casework, flooring, and fume hood. Estimated project duration is 180 calendar days. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: B, General Building Contractor. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid, excluding alternates, shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, listed in the latest published State of California, Department of Insurance, list of Insurers Admitted to Transact Surety Insurance in This State. The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements.
