Renovation of a water / sewer project in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This Request for Proposal scope of work includes the following major elements: 1. Removal and replacement of the West Bar Screen and Compactor. 2. Removal of both chain and bucket Grit Elevator Systems in Grit Chambers No. 1 and 2 and replacing with a Submerged Shafted Screw Conveyor and Grit Pumps. 3. Installation of new Main Control Panels, Local Control Stations and associated conduit and wiring to support new Process Equipment. 4. Removal and replacement of both Grit Classifiers. All work associated with removal and replacement of the Process Screenings and Grit Collection Equipment is specified in the contract Specifications and Drawings titled "Headworks Improvements Screening and Grit Equipment Replacement". Question Deadline 06/27/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions and communications about this request for Proposal and submission requirements must be directed to the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website at online . Responses to questions submitted by the above date or identified at any Information Session to be held in regard to this RFP, along with any changes or amendments to this RFP, will be available via the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website by Monday, June 17, 2024. . It shall be the responsibility of the proposer to download this information. If you have any procedural questions in this regard, please call the Purchasing Director at (203) 574-6748. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued as of 7-3-2024.
