The City is soliciting quotes from qualified and licensed commercial electrical Contractors to establish an On-Call Time and Material contract to provide labor, tools, equipment, and necessary material (unless provided by the City) for electrical maintenance, repairs, replacements, troubleshooting, equipment assessment, and new installation at various City facilities on "as needed" basis. The Contractor shall provide all necessary cutting, fitting, or patching and regulatory disposal of the debris generated from the work issued under this contract. Typical City facilities include Office buildings, Community Centers, Historic buildings, Museums, Arts Gallery, Residential buildings, Community Rental Program Spaces, etc. Individuals who would like to inspect or visit any of the buildings before submitting a quote shall contact Sunil Prithviraj directly. The Contract shall continue in full force and effect for 12 months from its effective date. Upon the expiration date or applicable anniversary thereof, the term of the Contract shall be automatically renewed for up to four (4) successive terms of one (1) year each unless the other party provides written notice to the other party no less than 90 days prior to the expiration date of the then existing term that it does not wish to renew the Contract. The total duration of the Contract, including renewal terms, shall not exceed five (5) years. The contract value is anticipated not to exceed $29,000 per contract term (12 consecutive months). The following is an outline describing the Scope of services anticipated to be required of the Contractor under the terms and conditions of this Contract. The Contractor is to perform maintenance, repair, renovations, installation, or alteration of electrical systems including power, lighting, electrical-related fixtures, and any other components in both commercial and residential settings. The services shall include, but are not limited to:
A. Installing additional electrical circuits.
B. Replacing existing electrical circuits.
C. Replacing panels and sub-panels.
D. Installing new panels and sub-panels.
E. Installing dedicated lines and grounds.
F. Electrical hook-up to system furniture.
G. Electrical system testing, troubleshooting, and inspections.
H. Replacing motors.
I. Lighting upgrades.
J. Repair/replace city-owned low-voltage transformers.
K. Demolition and/or altering existing electrical systems.
L. Pool equipment electrical bond testing.
M. Circuit tracing.
N. Underground electrical circuit tracing.
O. MDP testing, infrared testing.
P. Switch Gear testing.
