Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Newnan, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Owner is seeking the services of an architectural/engineering firm (the "Design Professional" or "DP") to provide all design services, including the development of plans and specifications. Full services provided by the Design Professional include Site Assessment, Programming, Construction Documentation, Landscape Design, Interior Design, FFE selection (purchasing not included), Security/Access Control Management System, Audio-Visual design, and X renderings. The DP will provide the complete programming, schematic, design development, and construction documents and will be expected to attend owner progress meetings at least on a bi-weekly basis throughout design. DP should also have experience working with City Council and Council Appointed Interest Groups throughout each design phase. In addition, the Design Professional will provide construction contract administration services, which include but are not limited to attendance at bi-weekly OAC meetings as well as responsibilities as the Building Official. Final project cost information will be required at material completion. Bi-Centennial Park Bi-Centennial Park will be a new park that is a major component of the approved SPLOST Funding. The City of Newnan would like this park to tell the history of the City of Newnan within the design. The project scope for Bi-Centennial Park is includes but is not limited to: Retaining Walls with Ribbon Seating, Bio-Retention Pond, Pavilions, Gardens, Walkways/LINC Trailhead, Parking Project Budget: The Stated Cost Limitation (Construction Budget) for the Project is estimated to be as follows: Bi-Centennial Park: $3,000,000.00 Greenville Street Park: $1,000,000.00 Greenville Street Park: Greenville Street Park is currently a two-acre urban park nestled between Greenville Street and LaGrange Street, and Salbide Avenue. The Park currently features a 25-column colonnaded entrance, a terraced lawn area, and a stage that serves a small amphitheater, water fountain, and a covered pavilion. The goal for the City of Newnan is to expand this existing park to enhance public performance. The tentative scope is included but not limited to: Demoing the existing stage and adding a covered stage with all new power/AV/LV Upgrades. Seating expansion, additional canopies, greenspace, restrooms, LINC Connection. Any vendor that submits a proposal may be requested to provide additional information to the City of Newnan. Such information is only for the purpose of clarification and in no way changes the vendor's proposal as originally submitted. The City of Newnan reserves the right to ask any or all vendors to clarify any portion of their proposals after submission. Design to start ASAP. The desire of the City is for both projects (Design and Construction) to be completed by 2025.
