Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Newnan, Georgia. Working plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The project budget is estimated to be $1,000,000.00 for Greenville Street Park and $3,000,000.000 for Bi-Centennial Park. The City of Newnan expects that 100% of project cost savings, including contingencies, will be turned over to the Owner no later than the substantial completion of the project. The City of Newnan, as the "Owner," is seeking Statements of Qualifications from experienced firms interested in providing Construction Manager at Risk (CM At-Risk) services for a project known as Newnan SPLOST Park Projects, Newnan, GA. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify the most qualified potential providers of the above-mentioned services. Some firms which respond to this RFQ, and who are determined by the Owner to be especially qualified, may be deemed eligible and may be invited to interview for these services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to the instructions communicated in this RFQ. The City of Newnan reserves the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of the City of Newnan. Greenville Street Park is currently a two-acre urban park nestled between Greenville Street and LaGrange Street, and Salbide Avenue. The Park currently features a 25-column colonnaded entrance, a terraced lawn area, and a stage that serves a small amphitheater, water fountain, and a covered pavilion. The goal for the City of Newnan is to expand this existing park to enhance public performance. The tentative scope is included but not limited to: Demoing the existing stage and adding a covered stage with all new power/AV/LV Upgrades. Seating expansion, additional canopies, greenspace, restrooms, LINC Connection. Project Schedule Although a final schedule has not been established, the Owner has targeted the design phase to begin ASAP with construction starting as soon as possible. Completion is necessary by the end of 2025
