The City of Hutto, Texas is soliciting a Request for Proposals for the construction of Northwest Transmission Main project. The project consists of the installation of approximately 5,400 LF of 16" C900 PVC watermain along the north side of Limmer Loop, using a combination of open cut and trenchless installation methods. At its eastern end, the new watermain shall tie into an existing City of Hutto 16" watermain, and at its western end, the new watermain shall tie into the existing ground storage tank influent line at the City of Hutto's northwest ground storage tank site. The project also included an interconnect with the Jonah Special Utility District's 16" watermain along Limmer Loop, which will connect directly to the existing Northwest ground storage tank via an existing wall penetration. The City of Hutto reserves the right to reject any Solicitation Responses received before the contract award.
