Deadline to submit inquiries: 10:00 AM, June 19, 2024 Project Completion: 4:00 PM, August 16, 2024 The District reserves the right, at any time, to add, amend and/or cancel the above dates and events. A Bid Bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid amount must accompany all bids in excess of $29,572. On bids in excess of $50,000, the accepted bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor Materials Payment Bond. Each bond shall be at 100% of the accepted bid. All bonds are at the expense of the bidder. Bonds shall be executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Michigan and be listed in the current Federal Register or have an A.M. Best Rating of B+ or better. Taylor School District is accepting bids for the following: - Replacement or upgrade of existing PA System at Myers Elementary School located at 16201 Lauren Drive, Taylor, MI 48180. - Replacement or upgrade of existing PA System at McDowell Elementary School located at 22929 Brest, Taylor, MI 48180. - Expansion of existing PA System at Holland Elementary School located at 10201 Holland Rd, Taylor, MI 48180. - Assessment of Current Infrastructure: The vendor will conduct an assessment of our current infrastructure to determine compatibility and integration requirements for the proposed PA system. -Design and Specification: The vendor will design a comprehensive PA system tailored to the specific needs and layout of the schools listed below. This includes specifying the necessary equipment, such as speakers, amplifiers, microphones, control panels, and any additional components required for optimal performance. - Installation: The vendor will be responsible for the professional installation of the PA system, ensuring all components are securely mounted and properly connected. Installation should be conducted with minimal disruption to school activities. - Testing and Training: Upon completion of the installation, the vendor will perform thorough testing of the PA system to ensure functionality and reliability. Additionally, the vendor will provide training sessions for designated school staff on how to operate and maintain the system. -Maintenance and Support: The vendor will offer ongoing maintenance and technical support services to address any issues that may arise with the PA system post-installation. This includes regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
