The Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians is seeking bids for spring cleaning services for 32 homes. Project Location Homes on the Red Cliff Reservation, Town of Russell, City of Bayfield. All in Bayfield County, WI. Project Description The project is a spring cleaning of 32 houses varying in size. The project has 5-4-bedroom houses, 12-3-bedroom houses, 7-2-bedroom houses, 1-bedroom house, 7-1-bedroom apartments. Spring cleaning includes but is not limited to cleaning cupboards, windowsills, glass, and screens, vent covers, ceiling fans, wiping and cleaning baseboards, wiping down walls, cleaning doors, cleaning under and behind stove and refrigerator, cleaning oven, cleaning under and behind furniture including couches and beds, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming all floors including entryways. Contractors must pass a background check. Scope of Services This Request for Proposal is for spring cleaning of 32 houses varying in size. Proposals for a portion of the homes will also be considered. Costs for Services Proposers must identify and define their hourly rate and what services are included. Right to Reject Proposals and Negotiate Contract Terms The Red Cliff Band reserves the right to select the proposal deemed to best meet the requirements of the Tribe, which may not necessarily be the lowest-cost proposal. The Red Cliff Tribal Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at any time during the bid evaluation process. The awarded contractor may enter subcontractor arrangements, provided it acknowledges total responsibility for the entire contract. Red Cliff reserves the right to approve any subcontractor proposed for the project contract. Sub-contractors must pass a background check. All proposals shall be evaluated according to the following criteria:
1. Successfully pass a background check.
2. Experience cleaning multiple houses.
3. Clear budget costs of labor and services included. Evaluation Window: Submitted proposals will be evaluated one week after the submission deadline. No decisions will be made during this evaluation phase. Red Cliff may reach out to bidders for additional information or clarification within this window. Award Notification: The successful proposer will be notified the week June 17-21, 2024. Unselected proposers will be notified after the successful bidder has been selected. Contracting: Contract will commence after June 24, 2024.
