Construct a New Parks and Recreation Administration and Operations Facility. - The Boone County Parks and Recreation Department is currently housed in multiple facilities throughout the County. The Boone County Fiscal Court is seeking a qualified General Contractor to construct a new Parks and Recreation Administrative and Operations facility with enough space to bring the Parks and Recreation staff and the department's different functions under one roof. -Project consists of new facility for the Parks and Recreation department, consisting of office and high bay garage space with a storage mezzanine. A covered shed row storage area is also included. Project Location: 5635 Idlewild Rd, Burlington, KY 41005 Each bidder is required to submit with their bid, a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, or certified check equal in amount to five percent (5%) of the base bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Kentucky to provide said surety. Bids must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the same and all persons interested therein. Boone County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and to negotiate for the modifications of any bid or to accept that bid which is deemed the most desirable and advantageous from the standpoint of customer value and service and concept of operations, even though such bid may not, on its face, appear to be the lowest and best price.
