Installation of new 6" and 8" potable water main improvements including, but not limited to, valves, fire hydrants, and service lines. The project also includes two jack and bore installations under Florida Central Railroad tracks and the removal of the existing water mains after new mains are successfully installed and operational. The Estimated Cost for this project is $5,542,611.00 A Bid, Payment and Performance Bond are a requirement when the offer/contract amount exceeds $100,000. Respondents shall attach an electronic copy of their bid bond for responsiveness. Submission of the bid bond, along with a certified and effectively dated copy of the power of attorney, shall be completed and signed by all required parties and submitted on the form provided in the solicitation. Submittal of a bid bond less than 10% of the total estimated contract amount for base period, shall result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. The Board of County Commissioners, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality concerning bid proposals whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the County.
