The Board of Education of the Mesick Consolidated Schools has authorized the Administration to solicit Sealed Bids on: Remove/dispose of Existing Flooring & Provide/install New Flooring in the Elementary Building Located at 210 Mesick Avenue, Mesick, MI Furnish all the necessary labor, tools, adhesives and edging to remove/dispose of carpet and install new flooring The school will be responsible for removal of furniture/equipment from the areas where work will be performed. The contractor shall prepare the floor to receive the new flooring by filling in all minor holes or cracks. All substrata shall be smooth and free from irregularities. Major floor irregularities and defects shall not be the responsibility of the installer. Any major or extra floor prep needs to be discussed and agreed upon with the school prior to commencement of said area. The flooring contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of existing flooring, along with scrapping and removing of existing carpet adhesive per recommendations by Collins & Aikman (C & A).
