The Work shall include: The Work on the sewer main shall include the installation of 6 sewer point repairs, and approximately 1,477 LF of 8-inch, 105 LF of 10-inch, 436 LF of 12-inch, 685 LF of 15-inch and 366 LF of 18-inch Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP), all in existing storm and sanitary sewers. The CIPP and sewer replacement/ installation work shall include dewatering, lateral reinstatement, protruding lateral removal, and pavement and site restoration. The Work on the sanitary manhole includes the resetting of 1 manhole frame and cover, including the raising of the manhole to grade, and cutting and capping a water line inside of a manhole. The manhole rehabilitation work shall include pavement and site restoration. Work shall be constructed under a Unit Price Contract. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on a State Board of Accounts Form 96 (Revised 2013). Each Bid shall be accompanied by the Contractor's Bid Attachment (included with the Contract Specifications) to Form 96, a Financial Statement (completely filled out and signed) and a bid security in the form of an acceptable certified check payable to the Owner or an acceptable Bidder's bond, in an amount of not less than 5% of the total bid price, in accordance with the Contract Specifications. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects in bids or bidding procedure, or reject any and all bids, or to accept the bid from the lowest most responsible and responsive bidder as exclusively determined by the Owner. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Perform all necessary Construction Engineering, including layout and staking, to ensure that the Work conforms to the lines, grades, and elevations shown on the Drawings or otherwise specified or required. 1. Establish all necessary lines, points, and corners with references for recovery of said items during construction. 2. Conduct a level circuit to establish additional benchmarks for use during construction. 3. Set stakes for structures. 4. Set any other reference points as required for control lines and grades.
