Reference Number 0000353880 Job Location: Sedalia, Colorado 80135 The Department of Facilities, Fleet, and Emergency Support Services (FFESS) of Douglas County Government, hereinafter referred to as the County, respectfully requests bids from responsible, highly-qualified companies for the provision of the construction of the Douglas County Government District 8 Emergency Services Public Safety Complex, as specified, located in Deckers, Colorado. Pre-qualification Requirements and References: All respondents shall meet or exceed the following requirements to be considered as the successful bidder for the construction of this project. Documentation verifying construction experience, as specified below, must be submitted with your bid response. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The District 8 project located at 10086 SOUTH STATE HIGHWAY 67, SEDALIA, COLORADO 80135, will require the construction of a new metal building and three new bunkhouses for Douglas County. The project scope includes site work related to driveways, septic systems, propane tanks and connections to homes, wells, pumps, retaining walls, utility work, grading, and construction of the new buildings as required to complete a turnkey finished product. The three new homes will be premanufactured, and the General Contractor will have to subcontract the premanufactured home manufacturer. These homes will sit on a foundation basement system that will include a garage space. The General Contractor will also have to subcontract to a metal building supplier. The metal building will consist of an upper-level office space and a lower-level garage space. The structural design of the retaining wall will also be delegated to the General Contractor. If thegeneral contractor proposes a different model number or manufacturer it will have to be preapproved by the county and the cost difference will have to be noted on the bid form. C.
