The work consists, in general, of installing a new solider pile wall with concrete lagging, regrading a portion of the creek channel, installing a rock riprap grade control structure, replanting of the area, and all associated work. The work under this Contract is to be completed in THIRTY (30) working days, a NINTEY (90) day landscape maintenance period shall commence at the end of the 30 working days after installation of all planting materials is completed. A Class "A" Contractor's License is required for this work. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professional Code. A Bid Deposit equals to at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid shall be placed in the sealed proposal. The Bid Deposit shall be in one of the following forms: cash, cashier's check or certified check payable to the Town of Los Altos Hills, or bidder's bond in favor of the Town executed by an authorized surety company. Performance guaranty bonds as set forth in Section 3-1.05 of the Special Provisions will be required from the successful bidder. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Town may require, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality or minor irregularity in the bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
