The work consists of, in general, regrading a portion of the creek channel, installing a rock riprap grade control structure, replanting of the area, removing existing barriers, and installing new guardrail system. The work under this Contract is to be completed in FORTY (45) working days, a ONE-YEAR (1) year landscape maintenance period shall commence at the end of the 30 working days after installation of all planting materials is completed. The form of said Payment Bond and Faithful Performance Bond can be found with the Contract Documents. Only said bond forms provided by the Town shall be acceptable. The bonds shall be in the amount of at least one-hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract. . The bidder's bond shall be at least 10% of the bid amount. As an alternative to the Bidder's Bond, cash, cashier's check or certified check payable to the Town of Los Altos Hills and in an amount equal to at least 10% of the bid amount may be used. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE. A Class "A" Contractor's License is required for bidders to bid on this project. A Class "C-27" Contractor's License is required for planting. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professional Code. PERFORMANCE BONDS. Performance guaranty bonds as set forth in Section 3-1.05 of the Special Provisions will be required from the successful bidder. TOWN'S RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Town may require, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality or minor irregularity in the bids.
