This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. 1. Pulverize and re-grade staff and visitor parking areas, replace asphalt. Area is highlighted on Appendix A. I. Staff parking area: 1325m2 II. Visitor Staff area: 275m2 III. Excluded area: Garage bay(s) concrete apron. 2. Remove (X2) existing parking bollards. Supply and install new bollards {X2} for entry ta garage bays, roughed in far a key switch. Bollards require connection to interior door operator via an underground EMT conduit. Patch concrete once underground conduit is installed. Detail provided in Appendix B. 3. Re-finish remaining parking bollards (x2) adjacent to garage bays. Existing vehicle electrical receptacles are to remain and shall be protected during the course of work. 4. Line painting far stalls and handicap identifiers are required and will match the existing. 5. Convert a portion {83m2} of grossed area to gravel complete with a geotextile underlay, suitable for vehicle parking. Area is highlighted on Appendix A. 6. Contractor ta retain and compensate a Geotechnical Engineer to verify requirements set out by the specifications, including all items to be inspected or accepted by the Departmental Representative.
