This bid is for 2 buildings, LHS and LC, at DVC. The project will include removing existing built up roofing system to the existing roof deck. New roofing system shall be cool roof felt back single ply membrane roofing systems, and all related work as specified in drawings and specification. Last date for Bidders Requests for Information: June 13, 2024 prior to 2:00pm Last date issue of Addendum / Response to RFI: June 18,2024 prior to 5:00pm California License Required: B - General Building License or C-39 - Roofing License Each bid shall be made on the bid form, which is included in the Bid Documents and when submitted, shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cashiers Check in the amount of 10% of bid (made payable to the Contra Costa Community College District) The successful bidder will be required to furnish a labor and material bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Construction Cost Estimate (Range): $1,600,000 to $1,800,000 total for both buildings *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Liquidated Damages shall be set for $500 Dollars for each calendar day the work is delayed beyond the Contract Substantial Completion date. The Governing Board of the Contra Costa Community College District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received.
